Welcome

Hi, I'm Chris!

Currently, I work at Verisk - Extreme Event Solutions in Boston, modeling agricultural risk. My work focuses on Verisk's US Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (USMPCI) Model, which incorporates both the physical and economic drivers of agricultural risk.

Before completing my PhD in March 2024, I was at the University of Colorado at Boulder in the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Science (ATOC) and Institute of Arctic and Alpine Research (INSTAAR). There I worked as a research assistant within the Polar and Paleoclimate Modeling Group led by Professor Alexandra Jahn. My research involved investigating the internal variability of Arctic sea ice in climate models and observations.
